Welcome back Wayne
For 500 quid a ticket I expect a reserved seat in the lounge.
It all felt a bit like a bar on a cross channel ferry.
Which might have been a better use of money…..

Nice one Barry. Some of those pillars could do with a lick of paint like.View attachment 204196View attachment 204197View attachment 204198

Aren't the white pillars temporary? I think a good number of steels are scheduled to be removed at some point.Nice one Barry. Some of those pillars could do with a lick of paint like.
There’s also revenue to be had from other corporate activities like conferences, training events, evening galas etc. Companies will be renting the corporate facilities all year round that nobody sees, not just match days. You missed (c)... basic supply and demand.
Everton have tried to raise the cost of their limited corporate before. Even after major refurbs of existing lounges (which are equivalent to a compatible offer elsewhere) they haven't been able to push it that far.
I'm assuming that the example posted (£2k to £9k) is an example of the club trying to speculatively push a much higher-end product, with several cheaper levels available to negotiate down to. I think there will be 7 levels of corporate on offer.
As regards LFC.... let's be honest, they're supply/demand figures are on a whole different planet to ours. They've limited supply for decades. My brother in law lives in the US and is an overseas member. He pays hundreds just to sit in an ordinary seat whenever he can get over, and sometimes thousands just to enter corporate-lite areas. There are tens of thousands like him who will pay a fortune for their rare visits. We don't have that.
Good point+ down at the docks there’s not much residential impediments to holding concerts, boxing and other one off sporting events, you can’t regularly do that in a built up residential area with no concourse and walking distance to the City Centre.
This is why the Euro’s will be at the Docks and not Anfield.
Eventually when the residential stuff is built, there'll be complaints no doubt.+ down at the docks there’s not much residential impediments to holding concerts, boxing and other one off sporting events, you can’t regularly do that in a built up residential area with no concourse and walking distance to the City Centre.

Always idiots... Like moving into our village next to a church and complaining about the bells ringing...Eventually when the residential stuff is built, there'll be complaints no doubt.
Seems to happen... People buy flats next to music venues then complain about the noise

You work for UEFA now do you as well? You know 100% it was the PRIMARY reason. The Euros will be at BMD primarily because Anfield's pitch is too small.
