New Everton Stadium

Latest update guys

Top work. Top, top work.

About seven minutes in I found myself getting up, wandering to the window and pondering what on earth I'd done with my life. Then ten minutes in I was suddenly ready to put them shelves up in the dining room that my missus been banging on about for months.

Then I realised it's that music track you put over the video, it's like a freaking rollercoaster of emotions.

The investment is for the club not the stadium, Moshiri is still funding the majority of the stadium, the rest will come from sponsors

That doesn't make sense. Care to explain how Moshiri is funding the majority of £760m and the rest is coming from Sponsors to pay off debt (we don't even have an loan in place)? I guess all of the £760m has to be paid back somehow.

Same way he’s funded everything thus far, his own pocket, hence why no signings in January, plus you’d imagine the MSP guys would stake something in it once their deal goes through

Went down to see the corporate offerings last week. The packages are flying off the shelf. I was able to pick my seat, which all seems a bit surreal given the ground won’t be finished for another 18 months or so.

It’s not often you hear it about the club, but it was a very professional setup, very clear on what there selling and how the whole package fits together. Credit where it is due.

Big risk opening a pub that’s only going to be busy every 2 weeks.
Was in there a few weeks back as I was on Merseyside for the first time in a year with my brother who was over from Toronto. Barmaid said the landlady has had the pub for 35years and is now looking to capitalise. She also said the LOR workers are in regularly helping trade. The workers told her the stadium is ahead of schedule. It will get done no matter what imo..

What is the offering then?

55/45 we stay
Don't think many of us would argue and actually it's easier to make peace with it now than keep being disappointed each week. My anxiety in between and during games is irrational but I cannot switch it off. However taking some comfort from the fact that a world class stadium in that location will help us to recover far better than Goodison ever could. Without BMD I think rele would have finished us as a sleeping giant with huge potential and firmly left us in state of inertia for decades more. There is still hope for better days even if we go down...
