Come on, mate..... You cant go posting stuff like this.
Blind panic is the mood here regarding getting to and from Bramley Moore.
We are going to need a much improved shuttle service at the new stadium. The current Soccerbus is a joke as there are just not enough of them. They are usually already full up if you don't leave the match before the end. You mentioned before that there is a shortage of drivers and buses available at weekends. Do you think there is any way of resolving this? Not blind panic at all.... just some reservations based on local knowledge, the club's history regarding public transport claims and the fairly sketchy transport information that has been offered thus far. (Unless I've missed a revised transport plan). There are some similarities with the Perth stadium, but some major differences too.
As the contributor stated.... Perth stadium benefits from multiple EXISTING public transport services allowing dispersal in ALL directions. It has its own bus terminus and a 6 platform station that serves several lines covering the bulk of the city's suburbs. It is also a shorter distance from the city centre transport hubs with dedicated shuttle routes and has a pedestrian bridge, crossing the adjacent river to access further public transport hubs/routes there. Public transport is also included in ticket prices.
Regardless....No-one is panicking or saying it can't be done....
We don't have multiple existing options, there are a couple of buses that go near it and a train station a 5 minute walk away. The stadium does have a dedicated train station which is operational on game days. Not blind panic at all.... just some reservations based on local knowledge, the club's history regarding public transport claims and the fairly sketchy transport information that has been offered thus far. Just a bit of backdoor promotion of my favourite YouTube sensationProper slag you...
Kopite in simpleton shocker....Had a Liverpool supporting mate of my father-in-Law say 'you're moving out of Liverpool' with the new stadium... Moron.

Did you tell him that Anfield is further away from the city centre?
We've been relegated twice from the top flight.
Would it be a daft idea to have a new mersey ferry terminal at BMD to take passengers to and from the Wirral? It's 2000 at a time for a ferry, I believe?

Also, we don't have car parking anywhere near the stadium which pretty much means everyone has to use public transport, which at the time was a major shock as Perth is a city designed for cars, but everyone is used to it now.
The bus bays after the game are brilliant - a constant stream of buses going everywhere. I assume that is what you mean by the 6 platform station, because the train station only has two platforms - one to the city and one away from it.
But it is a great set up and makes going to and from the game so easy, and is a great case study for any other new stadium looking at how to move people quickly and effectively
