To be told now it's going to be mid season is a delay, whatever angle someone tries to put on it.

There has never been a statement by anyone from the club to say it would be ready by the start of the 2024/2025 season, only that it would be completed in 2024.
That gives end of 2024 and start of 2025 to complete test events in preparation for the start of 2025/26 season.

I think we could move midseason, if the stadium is ready in October and we have it signed off and can move in, the club could plan it in and move in. Logistically for the club there is no difference in moving mid season or start of the season. They still have to sort everything out. the only real difference is they would need to organise some friendlies with the U21's or something to test out the stadium with a crowd before the first Premier league game in the new stadium.
Just hope if we do move mid season that there is a "Big Goodbye" for Goodison. Maybe in January during the 2 week break we could do a tournament there or Maybe in the summer after the move we have a pre season tournament that has half the games at Goodison and half at the new stadium

Exactly. The club's line has always been 2024 for completion.
If people wanted to interpret that as January/May/Aug/November that's on them.
The frustration for me is the time wasted doing the second fan consultation and pandering to English Heritage/Unesco, only for them to flick the vs at us anyway. That's the waste of a year right there.

Is there a reason you can't respond to the 8 people who have told you that it's never once been stated that it would be open at the start of the 2024/25 season?
I'm still waiting for you to respond to my query when you said your daughter had heard the build wasn't going ahead but you didn't know more than that. I queried that it was odd you wouldn't ask your daughter the reasons why the build wasn't going to start and you never responded.
I wondered why that was and then I remembered it's because your just a big raging Kopite bellend isn't it!!!
