The stadium being used for the final is being built from scratch in a city/area that hasn't been built yet (Lusail). It's going to be 85k I think, and the latest news is that they'll probably knock it down again after the WC. Nice one FIFA.

I hear the stadium will be gifted to West Ham so they can play pre season friendlies there

Iirc part of Qatar's pitch to get the WC was that some of the stadiums would be dismantled and gifted to developing countries. At least that was the official version.

That stadium in Bordeaux is stunning. It's only 42,000. Throw another tier of 12-15,000 on something like that and bobs yer uncle. Best stadium in England.

Still the one to beat for me. Looked brilliant during the Wales game.

Feyenoord's De Kuip is a stadium we should be looking at 51,000 on a small footprint with a brilliant atmosphere

The answer was in question to what have they invested, do you have any idea what that investment up there has done for Liverpool?? Manchester is tge distribution centre for the importation that comes through are port, they go hand in hand

Never thought id say this but im happy to see investment in Salford etc as its more power to the north, we all know the government would love to rename the UK as London Island if they could. More power to the North I say, if Peel focus on Liverpool and Manchester for example then I say lets work together and not against each other.

Just as an aside I live in a Peel apartment block on Salford Quays and from my perspective they are excellent at what they do from the creation of a development to its on going management and maintenance
