New Everton Stadium

The picture on Twitter that Everton used to announce Koeman has a Liverpool skyline in the back ground.

Is this a sign of us being apart of that skyline in the future or am I looking to much into that?

its further up the docks than that anyway.... Thats almost the cruise terminal

Fair point I hadn't taken into consideration, I hate the top balcony for the steep stairs, so the angles should be taken into account In the new build :)
Can anybody confirm the rest of the rules mentioned ? Be interesting to see how far back we have to be, of course if we are pushed back from the pitch then steep stands would be the counter measure to make you feel 'on top of the action' so to speak ?

The maximum rake of a stand these days can be 34/35 degrees. Top Balcony is 38 degrees. So stands can be steeper than the they are in places like the Emirates, where the slightly disappointing sightlines are caused largely by the huge amount of legroom in front of the seats which has results in a shallow gradient.

I've got no idea whatsover about rules regarding how close to the pitch new stands can be. Again I bet they can be closer than they are at the Emirates though.

Imagine if we got a stadium on a helicopter! Hovering just about the docks. We'd be unbeatable at home, titled slightly to the goal we're kicking towards. Couple of dodgy Tilts to the side ... We'd be boss

One would assume that if we built a four sided stadium we would be closer than say a bowl shape stadium.
I for one would be happy to see a stand that isn't as steeper as our top balcony

I'm more concerned about that atrocious suit printed with Everton images. Can you buy that in the Everton shop?

From snippets I hear the stadium design process is fairly advanced.

From different sources I hear there are stadium models and detailed drawings drawn up.

You'd have thought the design would be partially driven by the location and so if the process is fairly advanced then there must be at least a preferred location, if not a settled one.

I can't see Chang being too happy at the Danka advertising.
