Ridiculous call if they finish the stadium in September/October. Everton being run like a parochial little club instead of a hard nosed global business. Which is why we are so far off other clubs commercially.
The only reason I can possibly see for this is if the naming rights partner has dictated they want in from the start of a season. Knowing our lot they probably haven't even looked in to it yet and waiting for the new owners to come in.
