I assume either the logistics of moving mid season would have been too problematic - or possibly the financial gain at BMD with a mid-season move not being so beneficial compared to starting the full season at BMD. It's a shame but probably makes sense.

It is, and to be honest the interior did stay breeze block, well in some areas it got a coat of paint.

But that's by the by, just look at it without a roof/sections of terrace in places. Our stadium is not much further behind than that was and yet we are talking about another 19 months before we play a competitive match at BM. I understand some of the arguments but if it does get finished autumn 2024 and is just sat there then it's a massive waste.

I’m in favour of this now I stop to properly think about it.

Goodison deserves the respect of a full season send-off, rather than us scuttling off mid season.

Cannot wait for the new ground, but a few months longer won’t kill us.
