We need a stadium with a similar capacity like Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, West Ham, Man City. We need to compete with them in the longterm. And they are all aiming to have a 60k stadium in a few years. And if we go with Suprastadio concept, we can afford to have even a bigger stadium than 60k. Free seats in a 70k Suprastadio are not a problem in my opinion. The highest tier/s could open only for some matches or could be sold cheaply to poor people, even given for free to charity for some matches. Atmosphere would likely still be perfect and the picture with free seats in a highest tier of Suprastadio concept are not too big problem IMO. Plus we can expect a big rise of an interest when moving to a new stadium. NSNO.
Ditto. For all I respect Esk and his knowledge, I've become entrenched with scepticism when it comes to significant projects and Everton.
A new stadium within three years that is on the banks of the Mersey is almost too good to be true. Now one of the best stadiums? Fantasy land.
That's not aimed to discredit or dismiss @The Esk at all, in fact the opposite, it's simply I do not want to be let down like we've been before.
