If Anderson's comment carries any weight it is clear that the site has been agreed upon. He could not forecast a definitive period without that knowledge.

If there was already agreement on a council owned site they would be reluctant to hold back on that news. Peel would not have that issue.

He used the words "still achievable", so he clearly went into that meeting with that aim in his head and came out reassured hearing nothing to the contrary from Farhad (and Bill) plus anyone else at the meeting (architects, land purchasers, expert planners etc. I would imagine). It wouldn't be achievable if Farhad was relaying bad news on progress with Peel.

There has to come a point very soon when we focus on one site and go for it!

Sort of, sort of not.

He's trying to be the Labout candidate for metro Mayor. He is the current city Mayor.

I don't think that's an issue, he's in post now.
