I estimate quite a lot.

For events like Internationals, Euro finals, major pop concerts etc. and heaven forbid there is a time we do well within a century. Even West Ham are averaging 63,000. Spurs, Arsenal, the sh1te over 60 too. I was primarily talking about major events, but I can also see a world mate, when a derby, or united game, or other big game would fill more than 52,888.

So we build a stadium that would probably sit 10k or more under capacity for all but 2 games of the season, just so it can host a final. Nah, not for me mate.

The teams you mention are either all in London with its huge tourist pull or are supported by day tripping glory hunters.

The grass will grow at any time of year. All you need is warmth within the soil to force germination and sunlight (imitated or otherwise) for effective photosynthesis, which when in the correct range will strengthen the plant. The work they put in ensures year round growth meaning the grass has to be cut weekly.

Turf or seed - September is the best time to seed a grass lawn - or -

Fair enough, thats your opinion, but not for me mate. My opinion is that it could have been a little more expandable for the decades to come.
