Did Kings Dock ever get to the points of plans/designs being released? I only ever saw that concept picture of it

Losing out on the Kings Dock could never be described as any kind of blessing tbh. More like an act of criminal negligence
that practically condemned our club to the doldrums for the past 20yrs. BMD is great on many levels but on location, transport and stadium flexibility The Kings Dock was far superior.... at a pittance in terms of cost too.

Kings Dock was definitely a sliding doors moment for us ....we certainly took the wrong one.
I'm just wondering tho , it was 55000 wasn't it ?
Was that one limited on expansion same as BMD is ?

Every time I see a video from in a concourse, I’m astounded how much space there is.

They are going to sell so much more beer. I can’t ever be bothered trying to get one at halftime at Goodison, and I can’t be the only one.

…Mrs Eggs came along with me to the Palace game, we were in the Top Balcony and the queue for the ladies toilet in the concourse at half-time was ridiculous.

Hopefully there’s better facilities for the ladies at BMD.

The Kings Dock debacle always makes me shudder, I didn’t realise how badly run we were until that happened. Kirkby would have been the end of Everton.. I truly believe we would have never recovered…

It was even worse than I thought it was. It was time for him to go when he simply couldn’t ’ring fence’ that £30m but I was always under the impression there were no alternatives. According to Paul Gregg there actually was a life line offered by the council but he changed his mind over night on the eve of an AGM. There are a few public figures who have come across as completely selfish over the years, and he’s right up there.

Went to NYC last year and took in a Yankees game. Those concourses were absolutely massive. Essentially outside of your seat, you could watch the games from various points throughout the concourse, but they were huge.

I'm particularly looking forward to using the 'Gender Fluid' toilets that we're apparently having.

Judging by the bogs at Goodison there will be 'Gender Fluid' all over the gaff.

You have to go down at least 7-8 minutes before half time to get a drink where I sit in the Main Stand. The concourse area get dangerously overcrowded.

I don’t see the new ground being any different with regards to qeueues for a drink. Definitely more space though.

Well the part of the Main Stand I'm in, MS1 has 2 people serving hundreds if not thousands. I'd like to think the new stadium will have far more bars and far more staff to manage queues more effectively.
