All the season ticket reservations closed yesterdayAny news on how they're going to sort the season tickets out and where people will get their seats?
Yes, they've been saying it would lose its safety cert for decades haha. Rotten mess or piece of classic Leitch stadium architecture? Only the treads and risers are wooden. They can be replaced. The rest is over-engineered steel, brick and concrete. Fulham have a simple single tier Leitch stand, it is held in reverence. Rangers, similarly with their Leitch double-decker, so much so that they spent a fortune adding an upper tier. Liverpool built a 20k stand around their much older and again much more basic Leitch mainstand....
The Emirates has a bit of a boring look to it. Just a dull looking modern bowl. I think we got a nice blend of being modern and adding a huge number of hospitality sections, but have 4 distinct sides to it, which your traditional football ground in the UK had. I hope that we can bring the best of the Goodison atmosphere to the new ground right from the start, as a lot of teams seemed to find it hard to settle into their new grounds when they made moves to new stadiums.Would like to see some more pictures in this forum. I’m super excited about it! Just shown a mate the stadium who supports Arsenal and he looked gutted at how good it looks. Little disappointed at the negativity around it. Last 3 years it’s kinda the only good thing about being blue!
Does that include any on the waiting list too?All the season ticket reservations closed yesterday
Only GA left now.
We don’t know anything about season tickets yet? I think he’s pulling your leg.Does that include any on the waiting list too?
I was told I was 500-1000 on the waiting list so was hoping I may get lucky.
Bang on! I went to see the Mets and I’m hoping it has a similar feel to that stadium (traditional yet modern). Compared to Arsenal we’ll have a close intimidating atmosphere for opposing teams as the pitch seems quite far away at the Emirates. The Emirates has a bit of a boring look to it. It might have been a blessing in disguise that we lost out on the Kings Dock project. The promises about the money being in place for the Kings Dock was before Arsenal began the work on the Emirates. They have had some issues with atmosphere and I think there were other issue trying to make it feel like a proper home for them. Other teams have had similar issues with their own fans not feeling at home in their new grounds and I think having to had to wait an extra 20 years to get to build our new ground we can have learned from the mistakes made by team in the couple of decades where so many stadiums were built on new sites.Bang on!
