I would be incredibly surprised if they put up a suspended ceiling, in fact, I'd put my house on there not being. There's no value in it at all. Have a big celebratory sing song, a pint goes in the air and you've got ceiling tiles to replace. No chance.

Nah, all the smoke heads, speakers, sprinkler heads etc are all in.
Besides as said above, there's no value / point to boxing it all in.

Agreed. They won't be putting in a suspended ceiling in the GA areas. It won't be a heated space either.

My best mate sent me this Friday.

From my LOR mate: We’re on track to complete our works for Christmas - then it’s over to the club to complete to fit out for 6 months. Everything is do-able and achievable for footie in Aug mate. They will need a couple of test events in May / June next year which are all planned. It’s a magnificent stadium. The quality of that south stand amenities areas with the blue kit escalators going up from ground level to the public bars and concessions is just great. Massive area up there with views back to the city. Superb. I also love the west plaza public realm space - where the coaches will pull up & the players will enter the ground. Really cool. They are planning a floating stage on the water adjacent to the west plaza for music / entertainment pre-match and the public space adjacent Regent Road with the old hydraulic tower is huge. Can imagine people mingling pre-match for a beer. Think they are looking at putting a bar in the hydraulic tower. Looking at it all yesterday if I was choosing a seat I’d go east stand - pro’s your facing the dug outs, and directors, you can see / hear the blue wall, you can see / hear the away fans in the corner, you have east access / egress via Regent Rd - there is walkable access to the south stand bars via the huge concourse. You will love it mate. Its quality. An exciting time to be a blue!
