New Everton Stadium

Anyone know if they’ve indicated whether the first game will be the season opener? Or whether they will got for the second game? Selfishly I hope it’s the second…. Just realised I’m probably going to be in Spain for the opener. Will be gutted to miss that

i thought you was and it was you know a “twitter handle”

Don't think there is any indication yet probably nothing till this season ends. If I was putting money on it though I reckon it be the opening game of the season on the Friday night

I gave up my season ticket many years ago when I left Liverpool and spent most of my time out of the country. Now retired, I put my name back onto the waiting list eight or nine years ago. I’ve been getting the emails from the club regarding the new stadium, the latest taking you through the North Stand and showing the inside areas and views from the seats, it really is amazing. Hopefully I’ll get an ST for BMD as I’m a long standing official member and long standing waiting list member. If I am lucky enough for it to come through I can’t wait to turn up at BMD for next season. If I’m not (but should be) then I’ll just pay for a hospitality package to be there. I’ve spent over 60+ years at GP, but BMD really is something else, and this old man doesn’t want to miss it….

Maybe it's a personal preference but I never like being in the corner, if the ball is in the opposite corner it's the furthest you can be from the action in any seat in the stadium.

I don’t mind some corner views, in that you get a good panoramic view and usually are guaranteed decent views of both goals regardless. Was in the middle of row 3 at West Ham, could barely see the goal at our end because of the shallow stand and the position with relation to the goal.

Horrific stadium for football. Probably the worst I've experienced.
