New Everton Stadium

Apparently they've said that they aren't going to adjust them. Might be BS, but I agree with Davek, they don't look the best. But that's our own opinion.

My name isn't Christ also
I'm sure that one of the ITK commenters on one of the drone vides (possibly David Badcock on a Mr Drone video but not certain) suggested that this was not the final look and that each light component consists of multiple individual LED lights which can be moved/positioned individually, presumably to give a more diffused look (hopefully anyway).

I'm hearing that there's a massive drone attack on Bramley Moore Dock as Mr Drone, @Noggsy blue and some fella who enthusiastically films Anglo-Saxon architecure on the coast of the Irish Sea target the gas stove blue barrel lighting to liberate the natural beauty of the new stadium. @davek has called for peace - but only after the lights have been destroyed and Dan Meis brought before the International Criminal Court that he doesn't actually recognise.

More as we have it....

Hope so 👍

haha, fair enough Rich :)
I just think we should wait till the job is finished before slating them for niggly aesthetics.
The whole west side isn't lit up yet. Maybe there is some process where that has to happen before testing the saturation of the lights.
I dunno but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt till it's finished.

Yeh, true. I tend to be a little impatient tbh. Plus, it just seems that there's loads to moan about, and this was one of them. A bit silly perhaps.

Just had a look on the club website and was amazed at the number of restaurants at the new ground, was more amazed that they are all "seasonally sold out" I assume that's to people who are fairly sure they'll get a season ticket? Will these restaurants given the nature of the position they occupy on the river be open during the week for the public to maybe use and visit or is that it, match day only and a lock out after that.

Also, I apologise if I came across a bit arsey before. In one crappy moody today, for some reason or another. So, I'm sorry for that

I think all that has been confirmed is that they won't be adjusting the height i.e. they won't be pointing them in the air. The intention was always to have the bottom of the barrel cladding illuminated. The issue isn't with the angle really, it's more the intensity which creates the blue dots/ gas stove look.

As has been mentioned elsewhere in here, they might still yet alter that intensity or add some sort of diffuser. Also bearing in mind that the lighting looks a lot different from ground level which is how the vast majority will actually view it.
This is the only thing they could have in mind. Surely...?
