New Everton Stadium

I decided to scale this up just to check it.

On 5 seats this spacing is a 1.8 ratio, however over 25 seats its actually 1.96 (due to the seats in green), so 25 seats becomes 49 standing.

So in reality over a full row a ratio of 1.8 would be a little more spaced apart to go from 25 seats to 45 standing.

It'll be intersting to see when the season tickets go on sale, if there is a disclaimer on the South Stand Lower "seats" stating something along the lines of "Before purhasing a season ticket in this area, please be advised that the rail seating within the South Stand Lower is subject to a potential future change to safe standing, which could increase the capacity and may reduce your allocated personal space".

Don`t they usually start hassling people to renew well before December. Considering everyone needs to choose a new seat for next season you`d think they`d at least be telling people how much they are looking to charge for each area.

I have visions of Moshiri wanting to be there as part of the handover ceremony, as it was his project, and then taking the mic and doing a swing jaw Klopp "Dan Freiiiidkin, na naaaaah na na na" and Dan flies over in his spitfire.

Mosh's mission is complete, stadium and handover to the new owners. gets in his yacht, and sails off into the sunset.
With Usmanov waiting for him in a u-boat in the north sea.

Another wonder of mine is, when if the extra capacity is allowed, how do they allocate will you get General Admission for example in that area or will STH in other ends be give the option to go in there vacating their normal seat just for that game for example

why is their smoke? on fire already
It's built on a Gaelic burial ground.

The sand dredged from the Irish Sea contains the bones of Celtic warriors in the sediment.

They've had a chat with Blue Bull in the afterlife and have returned to express their displeasure. Get your money on Everton 0-2 Preston North End in August. Coleman with two own goals.

One point to note is it will never be GA, so it won't just say South Stand Standing on your ticket and let you move where you want. Likely you will be given a row and seat number perhaps designated with a suffix to say you are on the front step.

ST holders can still stay in their allocated seat on the upper step. If you were short though and there's a chance a 6ft 6 bloke is standing in front of you then you may consider to move. Likewise if you just want more space around you. People would need to be given notice that this is coming into force before they renew their ST that year. Obviously they would do this in increments so the first year(s) would not feel as bad as if they went in at 1:1.5 straight of the bat. This would help acclimatise people to the principle.

I cant see it on the roof. I could defo see the West End stand facing the Mersey getting the stadium name though. Any sponsor in the world would want their brand name on that end of the stadium.

From what I've read being in a heritage zone and all, any sponsorship has to be tastefully done. So do I expect to see the name across the barrel cladding in massive bright letters, no.

There are images of the stadium with 'EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB' in a dull-ish white across both ends. I expect this to be utilised for the sponsor. Of course there may be other parts saying the company name to say on each corner, I would expect it to be smaller imho.
