New Everton Stadium

From what I've read being in a heritage zone and all, any sponsorship has to be tastefully done. So do I expect to see the name across the barrel cladding in massive bright letters, no.

There are images of the stadium with 'EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB' in a dull-ish white across both ends. I expect this to be utilised for the sponsor. Of course there may be other parts saying the company name to say on each corner, I would expect it to be smaller imho.
The planning documents have the top of the East and West roofs earmarked for sponsor logos.

One thing we have had our attention drawn to by the drone flyers over the last few days are the orientation signs at the new stadium. I hope they have done these right. In other words the river on the map is where the river is on the sign, north is north, south is south, Dock Road is where the Dock Road is etc. Although you can barely see them, I have a horrible feeling they haven't done this. If I am not mistaken there were similar signs at the arena at the Albert Dock for a couple of years where they were essentially the wrong way round. Eventually they were changed. Let's hope it is right form the start.

Imagine if Toyota demanded their red logo...

This!

For anyone as curious as I was... these are the logos of the two big mooted names, mapped onto the area the planning docs specify as the areas for roof sponsorship signage.

They both look fine, and don't overpower the stadium as I feared they might.
