Who cares about UNESCO? We tell them what we're doing, they tell Liverpool they'll lose their status, we do what we want, UNESCO remove WHS. Whats the biggie? Joe said himself in public that he can't prevent funding on this scale cause of a status that really doesn't add anything to Liverpool past Bureaucracy.

Plus filling it in, will be costly yes, but no more costly that the filling in of the Liverpool 2 ports and there will be silt and material there that can be dredged for use as a proportion of infill.

Not that any of this matters anymore of course.

We'll be able to fill it with the dropped innards of kopites after the announcement is made.

I pass Bramley Moore Dock daily. It's the site I have been touting for several years. To be placed a) close to the city b) visible from the river c) remaining in the North side of the city is the best option all round. To find ourselves further away from existing amenities and disturbing local residents whilst building a stadium would be a big negative. This really is the one option that Everton should go for.

Very costly and will be opposed by English Heritage and UNESCO. Would be a long, difficult planning process. Not saying it is impossible but be very brave & risky to take that on.

But the Echo Arena is just fine right?
