American stadiums are crap for football. They work well for their respective sports. I think they can be interesting as a case study in external designs though, as they vary widely, they are crazy expensive, and there are pissloads of them.

Just ignore the inside bits, as they would all make awful football stadia (although CenturyLink, posted above, is pretty obscene for atmosphere).

In addition some of our most loved stadiums are objectively awful by modern standards.

Wasn't it this spring that people were literally urinating in bottles at Wrigley Field because of problems with the bathrooms?

Yea, take a look at Fenway, loads of obstructed views, It's an old stadium, This is a country the size of a continent. I'm surprised at the colts pic but in general, the top American stadiums are great. To say all American stadiums are [Poor language removed] is daft. Come over, have a look. Some of them are incredible!

I think you would hardpressed to find one stadium in the States, even going to the amateur ranks that has restricted viewing

My main issue with American stadia is the terrible distances they're ok with putting seats from the field. The backs of bowls are pointless for actually watching the game.
