I work on Great Howard st and know for a fact the regeneration is underway which has started with the old silo next to the Titanic hotel being turned into a giant car park to cope with the 2 skyskrapers that have been giving the green light and this all topped off by Everton's stadium.A Director from a firm who I deal with on a daily basis close to the proposed site told me they have already purchased land knowing the information he has about the ground being a certainly.Drove along the dock area for the first time in a while this afternoon. There would need to be a huge amount of regeneration to make the most of any stadium plan. Once you get past Costco it's extremely grim. Makes the area around Old Trafford look palatial.
Sorry but the West Ham stadium is a joke. The fans have well and truly had their pants pulled down over this.uh?

They supposedly buying into the new main stand.I see the RS are getting new investment from the Chinese
Is there any chance they could get in first and steal the dock land site?

Dont think they would commit to £ 450mil worth of Anfield redevelopment only to move home. Can't see Fenway Group selling any equity in Liverpool FC at this stage, they will want to complete their Anfield development programme at the very least before accepting offers.
Nothing to be concerned about.

Is that really how much they plan to spend on the upgrade?? Makes you wonder why they didn't move to the waterfront themselves. They have missed the boat now but I'm curious as to why it wasn't even mooted.Dont think they would commit to £ 450mil worth of Anfield redevelopment only to move home.
They may well sell once complete or reap the benefit of the extra revenue generated. As you say non concern.
