New Everton Stadium

Isn't he only flying that at the moment because his bigger drones have been confiscated (ie. ones used when he got done)? That's what I understood anyway.

I can look at this two ways:
1. He's been called up on two of his flights out of his claimed several thousand that he's done.

2. He's probably constantly flown above allowed altitude and out of eyesight and is lucky to just be done for the two.

As an occasional drone user myself, I've ignored the rules on tons of occasions. I'd never fly over people while breaking rules or when within the exclusion zone of an airport, but I've definitely gone way too high on purpose before for better videos and allowed the drone to go out of eyesight and relied on my controller and GPS - as I'd imagine almost every hobby drone user has whether they'd admit it or not.

Seems like a £3000 fine and confiscation of numerous drones is extremely excessive though.

The drone flights since construction commenced have been absolutely fantastic.
I've watched most of them that have been linked on here from conehead to the dredger filling the dock with sand to the 4 corners, pre fab terracing , barrell roof, west terrace - it's been excellent viewing.
Each update showed progress and I can't believe how exciting it's been to see our beautiful stadium rise from nothing to almost reach conclusion.
So thanks to all these lads who have spent time informing and entertaining us. It's been a great ride.

Absolutely this.

ALL the drone lads have done a great job.

TBF to Mr Drone: he has a point about the way the local media and coppers have set him up for retribution.

They're scum.

I think that's his (supportable) main point.
He publishes his content, he signs up to the pilots charter, flying around any stadiums needs a signature waiver before approaching any. I had to do it for Goodison, and the Pit.

He’s a melon, Dave.

So took a walk from Central to the dock on Friday morning, down Old Hall St and Great Howard Street.

Few thoughts - its a dead easy walk from Dale St pubs, smashin.

It looks absolutely mahoosive when you first see it as you head down Old Hall St

It's properly in the city, that's gonna leave a real impression on visitors and will become more cemented as the dockside develops.

Also, the walk from town (and back) through a former industrial area, with a few breweries here and there to a really fantastic new stadium on the waterfront really reminded me of going to Oracle Park last year, takes about the same time as well. And remembering hordes of Giants fans heading out of downtown San Francisco to the game gave me a real smile thinking of the crowds of blues doing the same in a few months. It's gonna be a sight.

Finally got a look without a gate in the way as well.
