New Everton Stadium

Has anybody noticed anything a bit "corner cutting" or just not as state of the art as they would like in the new stadium? Not being negative just intrigued if there's anything glaringly obvious everton have done to save money.
The toilets might be an issue - only 4-5 urinals and 1 cubicle in the one I went in (Lower South). Also, there aren't any leccy hand dryers - seems a bit strange in this day and age to have a really modern stadium with a litter bin overflowing with tissues.

Could probably have done with a hand rail down the South Stand stairs. They're really steep and some older supporters were having to be very careful, and this was on a dry day too. I know they made everyone aware that it was gonna be steep but it surprised me just how steep, they might get some requests to move seats from some of the older/less nimble fans who've bought STs in there through fear of falling.

Minor details though, the stadium is magnificent. Amazing location, unique entrance to the stadium thanks to them preserving the heritage of the docks and keeping the wall and gates. Huge plaza, loads of room to get around the outside of the ground once all the fences are taken down, better spacing between the seats so you don't get some big lardy scruff leaning back halfway into your space, food prices a little high but was good quality with a few choices and queues moved pretty quickly to say it was a test event so more people than usual were sampling the scran coz it's their first visit. Sat in two different seats each half and the pitch views are perfect - the steepness of the stand makes you feel as though you're more on top of the pitch than a similar number of rows back in the LG imo. The stadium seems to harness the noise really well too, only half full and when there was a cheer the noise was amplified and kinda hung in the air. A proper wrench to leave Goodison but we're going to new home we can be proud of.

2 things though. Is that the very back row and where you can see the person standing up on the South, how many rows between them going back can cross the line of sight. I'm still not convinced that a tall person doesn't block the corner flag for the seat that is tightest in the corner.
It's the very back row in the very end seat.

Couldn't be any clearer in terms of there being no obstruction whatsoever....unless Olivier Richters is stood on the South Stand!

I am only 5'8" and sit in UGS: the person sitting on the row in front and one seat to the right blocks the whole of the goal for me with his head.

I am hugely relieved that that will no longer happen at the new Stadium, due to the better seating and height of the rows! ;)
My Grandson was made up, he didnt have to stand on the seat to see.

Food was confiscated at the gate. My wife was only trying to take a large bag of peanuts in... they checked her bag and removed them. Not sure what will happen to the tea flask and butty brigade haha.
Womens bags are almost always checked entering large events these days, yet blokes seem to be able to wander straight in! In future stick the peanuts and butties in your pockets, job done 👍!
