New Everton Stadium

My Grandson was made up, he didnt have to stand on the seat to see.
Needs to be perfect for everyone, especially the little ones. They're the future of the club. They lose interest early and they don't tend to come back. Gotta make them WANT to go every week.
It was everything to me as a kid, going the game.
So many more distractions these days too.

I think yesterday demonstrated that there are loads of ways forward and room for progress with the right commercially minded people at the top - not charity workers pretending to be CEO.

However, the one slight niggle I had yesterday was that on a few occasions, I asked stewards inside the ground where to find something and the response was "I've no idea, I am as lost as you are".

To some extent, I understand its new and everybody will get better. However, you would think the club would have trained stewards on where things are because its an essential part of their job.
Same here, asked a couple of stewards questions, "Dunno mate its my first day"

It's the very back row in the very end seat.

Couldn't be any clearer in terms of there being no obstruction whatsoever....unless Olivier Richters is stood on the South Stand!

Got no idea how you can be so sure Andy, it will be marginal. It might be fine, it might be fine some of the time, it might be blocked all the time. The only way to find out is to sit there and see with your own eyes.

Of course if that bloke standing there is 6'7" then that changes it a bit as that line would start lower down, but that's why I'm NOT saying it will definitely be blocked. We wait to see.

I've also maintained all long I don't see this as a restricted view even if the corner flag is not seen. It's a miniscule part of the pitch.

Picture looks (to me) to be from a seated position too, so I’d expect if those in the adjacent stand are stood up for whatever reason (a corner etc), the person in that seat is likely to be stood up too, changing the sight lines again.

Quite possibly, there are lots of variables involved that change this. We kind of know that everyone should be stood up in the South stand lower all game though.
