Solution, built another walkway bridge next to it.
By 2028 you'll be able to walk the river side of Nelson dock down towards town.

Not sure why they've sat on that, but it was over a month ago.
Yes, this was my suspicion.
The width of the channel more than halves, from 19m to 8m:

Think we found a way for increasing the capacity.
And so they should.Weight or narrowing issue on that bridge: it's a good weapon to use against Rotheram and the LCC to keep their minds focussed on transport improvements.
I get the impression the club will be quietly pleased the local state are feeling the heat over access to the stadium.
That is quite revealing, isn’t it?I see there is an article about Jenny Seagrove visiting the stadium on the official site. Prentice must have written it but, all irritation aside, I had to chuckle at this quote:
Jenny continued: "He wanted to dream big. He wanted us to have the best stadium in Liverpool. He wanted it to be a world-class facility, and it is.
I couldn't help think Bill's horizons, with the best will in the world, were never travelling much further than the city limits...unless it was Kirkby.
Judging by the caption I'm guessing it's because the US Tour wasn't yet announced/the buffer between us and 18th place wasn't as huge?

It's health and safety gone a bit mad really. Council obviously covering themselves by herding people like cattle rather than just letting people calmly and patiently make their way across the bridgeI did actually think, looking at that overhead pic, that there's quite a natural tapering, anyway. It's not like people are going to walk straight into perpendicular walls 10m wide.
Thought the club would give fans a way of giving feedback online to the test events / stadium etc unless I'm missing thatA resounding success and they're onto the travel. Stop flapping is the message, I think.
Colin Chong, Everton’s Interim Chief Executive Officer, said: “This was a hugely important step in our transition to Everton Stadium, and we are delighted with how the stadium and our protocols handled the increase in capacity. Following the first test event we received a lot of positive feedback on the matchday experience elements and the food offer, while we also took on board some learnings from an operational perspective. We will continue to engage with local authorities, city stakeholders and fan groups about the long-term travel plan, through the Transport Working Group.”
