New Everton Stadium

Appreciate the clarity.
Pity it,s a bit further north than expected as the Clarence dock would have been a bit closer to the city centre.

My understanding is that Peel are keen to have the stadium bookend their development rather than define it. A stadium on Bramley Moore will announce the start of Liverpool Waters and the City, where as it would draw away from the feel if it was in the centre. From a master-planning pov it makes much more sense to utilise BM for a build such as this. We have to remember that while we have the money, they have to be willing to sell, and with this it is effectively the decision of Peel as to what happens up until the point of purchase. I have no idea if Trafalgar and adjacent were ever discussed as part of potential purchase, but it would surprise me if every dock hadn't been mentioned as potential during very early discussions. A Stadium there would also have a much greater effect on the visibility of the historic buildings that currently define the North docks skyline than at BM, when viewed from the popular viewing points across the water.

One question... how long would you envisage or guesstimate ST prices remaining at current levels?

It's an interesting question Andy. You'd think with demand above capacity for season tickets, prices would rise but I do get the feeling the club is seriously committed to the idea of affordability.

I'd be amazed if prices increased above inflation for the period we have left at Goodison, if at all - so that might be what 5-10% across the board by 2020?

What might happen though is that they start restricting the numbers of the various age and concession categories within the overall limit of season tickets thereby increasing the overall yield without increasing prices.
