New Everton Stadium

It's an interesting question Andy. You'd think with demand above capacity for season tickets, prices would rise but I do get the feeling the club is seriously committed to the idea of affordability.

I'd be amazed if prices increased above inflation for the period we have left at Goodison, if at all - so that might be what 5-10% across the board by 2020?

What might happen though is that they start restricting the numbers of the various age and concession categories within the overall limit of season tickets thereby increasing the overall yield without increasing prices.

would assume that increased hospitality would be set off against considered s/t price hikes?

Where is opposite Bramley Dock on the Wirral side?

Cheers mate, just trying to think ahead and plan (some of) my retirement budget ;)

Heard a rumour that the capacity of any new stadium is 50,000

Not sure if its true or if that will be enough in the long term TBH, anyone heard anything different ?

It would have to include Nelson and Collingwood docks as well surely? Doesn't look to be enough room for a stadium for just Bramley-Moore?
If Collingwood is used / filled in, then that will also cut off Stanley Dock from the Mersey. Unless they incorporate some kind of raised platform over Collingwood and use it for parking / hospitality venues, with a bridge / tunnel structure to allow access to Stanley. Probably a few options for some brilliant but costly architectural ideas there...

I don't get why people suddenly think its not Clarence Dock? I have read back through and cant see any reasoning for this. There was a story in the echo just a few days ago saying that the club had been told that the land for Clarence Graving Dock would be £20m. In the grand scheme of things, that is not very much money at all. Buy taking on a 15 hectare site the club would have enough space for the stadium, plus space all kinds of leisure and residential development.

Very important that Esk.

We are The People's Club, not The People With Deeper Pockets Than Others' Club.

I think don't think the people that run our club will want to throw that away.
