New Everton Stadium

Are you not sure it's not just Liverpool Echo Jounalists who are Kopite closets wanting to deny this how dare Everton FC have ambitions for a water front stadium- they were fuming if we had secured the Kings dock!
Yes it might be a rumour, but a nice thought if Joe Anderson tweeted that what's the saying no smoke without fire!
there's certainly a lot of journalistic sloppiness with the precision of the language used to create ambiguity and a misleading headline. Its got bitter koppite running through it like cheap blackpool rock.

The iconic skyline is some distance away from Bramley dock, you wouldn't of thought it would enter most images/pictures of the traditional Liverpool waterfront........or am i being greedy?

No we should have had the Kings dock this is revenge a stadium not far from the waterfront would be deserving for the first professional club to be created in our city founder members of the football league - we deserve it end of if it is viable I would see no objections from the fan base like the vote was passed unanimously for the Kings dock!

Nope, the screenshots of Liverpool and the Emirates were taken at the same zoom level. Look at the size of it in comparison to the Echo arena - a 60k stadium would dwarf that.
I did a similar thing last week to gauge the size, but I can't photoshop to save my life.

The Emirates is about 250m long x 200m wide at its widest points. In the image, the width of the stadium takes up the whole site, which is about 300m wide. Its probably a perfect sized though when we include concourses etc.

What is certain, is that if the site is BM, it would need to include Nelson dock to to be big enough. Are both considered to be Bramley Moore? I'm not local, just basing it on the names of the docks I see on Google Earth.

will it be situated east to west or north to south

this could be the biggest poll ever, goal end at the river the ball could end up in Hoylake if Barry balloons one over?

tadao.
Could you do the same again please showing the distance from site to city centre ?

Google says 1.6 miles to Liver Bldg and by car its 6 mins, by foot 30 mins.
Likewise, says 1.9 miles to World Museum, library etc and by car 9 mins, by foot 38 mins.

Would be a superb regeneration project and a good opportunity for restaurants and bars to open between the Liver building and the new stadium.
Create a fabulous pre and post match experience of our beautiful city.

It would be bloody stupid to build it east-west unless they have some stunning facade for the river-facing aspect. That's the side that will garner the most attention, and it really needs to be the long pitchside stand that faces the river.

Two and a half bloody years I've been checking this thread...got knows how many years on the 'other' stadiums

I've come to the conclusion that this Joe Anderson whopper is now officially a bad kopite who is just winding blues up

Away with you Joseph!
