New Everton Stadium

I must admit, I really love the grade 2 listed Dock Wall and the Entrance to what will hopefully be our new home......

Per NSNO.

While filming a deadline day special Facebook Live broadcast, we popped down to Bramley Moore to see what all the fuss was about, and to check out the size of the site.

It’s massive, by the way.

As we tried to have a snoop around a Liverpool-supporting security guard / worker asked if he could help, so we asked him about the proposed move.

He told us that the club are looking to fill in the water part of Bramley Dock (unsurprisingly) and use the land up to the existing buildings as the footprint of the stadium. The area around the famous six-sided clock, where Liverpool Sound City is held, will be used as a car park for the stadium.

It seems there is a little more detail behind the scheme than has been released, even through Mayor Joe Anderson’s tweets, and it seems there is plenty to get excited about should Everton get their stadium on the waterfront at last.
