Yep. However some people won't even accept the If and reject it completely.
The fact is, Spurs and West Ham are moving into new stadiums in the next 7 years. Do we want to be left behind by the likes of them?

I stand corrected...thanks for that.Is it true that they dumped Wonga because of the outcry/ lots of geordies geting in to debt taking out pay day loans? There certainly was a major fuss about it.Wrong.
It was named Sports Direct Arena BEFORE, 11 months BEFORE, Wonga arrived on the scene.
Indeed it was on Wongas [PR] direction when they became their sponsors that it was changed BACK to St James Park.
Also the new stands up there were overseen/designed by a man heavily involved in KEIOCs campaign against the Kirkby Shed. He is a ST holder at GP to boot.

Wrong gramps
Was he also the man behind keiocs great white elephant the infamous 'loop site' ? Find it a tad strange that this counter proposal hasn't resurfaced along with the tired old buzz phrases associated with the kirkby stadium plan. 'Kirkby shed' being a prime example.
The thought of moving my seat in the park end ( right by the away fans) which I love and the people that sit around me,near me is unthinkable.
If we needed to generate a quick 75m to fund a new super stadium would people be willing for us to sell Barkley and Stones?
Good point, we should shelve all plans immediately

Yeah it was more just a national outcry against companies like Wonga advertising everywhere. The TV was flooded with adverts for payday loan companies and people wanted it stopped, and that included NUFC having Wonga on their shirts.
had to do that a few years back, a real wrench tbh.The thought of moving my seat in the park end ( right by the away fans) which I love and the people that sit around me,near me is unthinkable.
