New Everton Stadium

Plus the away end facilities - it's one of the worst away trips for other clubs' fans to make, in terms of the views, the concourse etc. Gives us a bad reputation in a lot of ways.

I know it's the same for Lower Bullens home fans and the back of the Gwladys St, but we love the club so we let a lot of it slide.

Yep. However some people won't even accept the If and reject it completely.

The fact is, Spurs and West Ham are moving into new stadiums in the next 7 years. Do we want to be left behind by the likes of them?

I wouldn't be categoric on it, they may surprise us, but the history of this board tells us this will end up a budget box that we're stuck with for the next 75 years minimum. Better than being in Kirkby though.

Wrong.

It was named Sports Direct Arena BEFORE, 11 months BEFORE, Wonga arrived on the scene.

Indeed it was on Wongas [PR] direction when they became their sponsors that it was changed BACK to St James Park.

Also the new stands up there were overseen/designed by a man heavily involved in KEIOCs campaign against the Kirkby Shed. He is a ST holder at GP to boot.
I stand corrected...thanks for that.Is it true that they dumped Wonga because of the outcry/ lots of geordies geting in to debt taking out pay day loans? There certainly was a major fuss about it.

Yeah it was more just a national outcry against companies like Wonga advertising everywhere. The TV was flooded with adverts for payday loan companies and people wanted it stopped, and that included NUFC having Wonga on their shirts.

If we needed to generate a quick 75m to fund a new super stadium would people be willing for us to sell Barkley and Stones?

:D

Yeah, to be honest, if that's what it takes to fund it along with naming rights and LCC assistance, and then Kenwright and investors sell up, take their profit and leave before they wreck the club beyond repair.
