New manager

Hard to tell how Mourinho's doing in Turkey.

He's in second place with 39 points in 17 games, but last season under the previous manager they were second with 99 points from 38 games. So actually that's down from 2.6 PPG to 2.3 PPG (From 99 points down to 87 points across a full season).
They are 21st out of 36 teams in the Europa League, whereas last season they got to the quarter finals of that competition before losing on penalties.

A very quick google suggests the fans are saying the football is boring and the club is a bit unhappy. Though he is decent at mid-game changes. Any Turkish posters here to corroborate?

He wouldn't be my first choice but I'd take Jose in a heartbeat.
Proven winner.
Piss-boiler.
Commands respect.
Hates the neighbours.
Has forgotten more about football than most ever know.
Plus - and this will be a very important factor in the first couple of years under our new owners - he would attract better quality players to actually want to join us, rather than us having to just dangle huge wages to attract anyone half decent.

Honestly why would anyone turn their nose up at Jose. The man is a serial winner, the players would know they need to shape up or ship out none of this guaranteed starters nonsense. We'd be viewed as a club with aspirations rather than one content to collect a premier league attendance certificate and be assured that when he did leave we wouldn't be looking at the ghost of moyes coming back again.

Plus he hates the RS the bants would be worth it alone
History has taught us that there is literally nobody that an Evertonian wouldn't turn their nose up at.

For example if I were to propose Pep Guardiola, someone would immediately pipe up to say he's never managed anywhere without money, our squad can't play Tiki Taki, he can't even get a tune out of Man City's squad currently, the Park End das would chew him up and spit him out, etc...
