New manager

What about Dino Toppmöller.

I have no idea what a möller is, but he’s a top one, so that’s good enough for me.

6’ 3” German & my lad says he plays a fast attacking high press. That would really excite me!

Sacking Douche & getting Moyes is like winning the lottery, but it’s only a pound. Oh please god make this Moyes thing go away!!!!!

We need a organized and professional approach, Moyes is cool and all but we need someone groomed for the role when he leaves us again, and it can't be Heitinga...

Basically what Miller is in England or Scotland. His dad was a really good manager in Germany, he was almost sacked by Frankfurt for getting them into Europe, because they haven't played attractive football last season, but they made huge steps forward this season, and also are good to watch.

Fonseca would be the wrong move as his football doesnt suit the squad.

I would have preferred a manager who could have been a long term appointment and gradually change the style and squad.

Thats what Fonseca & any manager would have to do then if he “doesn’t suit the squad”, he’d have the change it?

It’s clear TGF have had to make a decision when they didn’t want to & they’re not getting any manager out of a contract.

IMO Fonseca was the best option available but I get why they’d go for Moyes now & to be honest this squad has his name all over it.

If they don't fancy the job at hand - don't throw extreme money at them like Mosh.

The job at hand is survival and PL squad building.

Taking a good squad the the CL is impressive - but we don't have one .

Fonseca would be massively underwhelming and hugely dangerous. The players aren't suited to his style whatsoever and he was recently sacked.
When there is talk of points per game for managers it has very little context and it's a pointless barometer to go by.

Who would you pick?

Could be wrong but don’t see Fonseca as the type to put the hard work in either. First in to the training and last out.

That’s why I think Moyes is the best choice for now. He still adores Everton and I trust him above any manager to come into this mess and work the hardest to get us out.

I paid attention to the fact he took Dortmund to the Champions league final last season. I wish we could have a manager as dreadful as that

Big Benitez fan as well are you, the players and fans at another club actually liked him.

Pretty bad sign when both fans and players hated a manager.

Fonseca doesnt seem like the type who could get much out of the existing squad. I dont think he'd be ideal in the summer either.

Moyes is the sensible option. Although, he was working for United while being paid by Everton & disrespectful when he got the United job.

"Knife to a gunfight" and down playing the club where he could of course.

Bit of a balloon popping moment to see him heavily linked.

Why the hell would Allegri come to Everton? Hahaha

He's wanted a job in the premier league since he left Juventus the first time.

He is currently out of work and there is an opportunity for him to build a legacy in the premier league with the Everton job.

However, thats for the summer.
