New manager

He's wanted a job in the premier league since he left Juventus the first time.

He is currently out of work and there is an opportunity for him to build a legacy in the premier league with the Everton job.

However, thats for the summer.

He can get that opportunity at a side far higher up the league than Everton who are still facing a PSR charge, in a relegation battle & have 12(?) players out of contract in the summer.

The job is massive & managers like Allegri will have far better choices than the current Everton.

Ancelotti joined before it started to turn to sh*t, truly.

You think if he was available now he’d take the job? Not a chance.
No, I don't think he would leave Madrid for us. But no one would have predicted he would have joined us a few years ago either.

The football world is full of players and managers joining clubs no one thought they would. It's really not that big a stretch

No one else has hired him in England in the 5.5 years since he wanted to challenge himself in this league.

Weird.

You made a silly statement, you could just own it rather than follow it up with more silly statements

I posted 2 facts:

1: Their fans hated him.
2: Their players hated him.

As I said, perhaps educate yourself on the manager's former club a little before going all in on him.

I'd say that should be your goal rather than sniping at me.

I agree but it isn’t a few years ago is it? Since then we’ve had points deductions, boardroom issues, owner issues, players downing tools, toxic fanbase etc

We’ve also got a bang average football squad, restricted funds, 12 players out of contract & another relegation battle.

That is a very different picture than what Carlo Ancelotti walked into.

Ancelotti was part of our decline and contributed to the FFP failures.

Without points deductions Dyche achieved one point less than Ancelotti last season with a lesser squad/ funds.

Ancelotti turned up for money, weird time with Covid. Bought in some players that had uber short-term and low benefit. Got burgled. Left.

''Moyes 6 month deal, Friedkins wants Ashworth as DOF, Ashworth wants Southgate as he did at United which the Friedkins are happy with...

the above from same source who told me yesterday about 2 hours before the news broke''

I guess I can post this in here too, hope it's wrong I really do.

Exactly but I’m more so talking about a manager accepting a job at Everton & the different scenarios
Gotcha, apols.

No we're not gonna get that kinda guy and I don't want them. I don't want Moyes either.

We need a 6 month batsh8t crazy Italian firebrand to liven things up, score goals, connect with fans AND THE GOAL and scrape survival and leave, whilst we bed in a serious long term replacement along the lines of a Frank, or the fella at Bournemouth etc.

The game has moved on.

I really hope I'm wrong about Moyes for all the noise I'm hearing. He did nothing for SUnderland in this scenario.

So you could well be right but if they want Southgate why not hire him ?
