I always thought Schmidt at Benfica was TFG’s #1… his set up is ideal for our core team too

Xavi, Rudi Garcia, Lucien Favre all without jobs at the moment

Surely Moyes isn’t the only considered particularly as somebody pointed out earlier TFG are familiar with the manager market and surely Thelwell has had his eyes on potential replacements also

I think unfortunately the position we are in and the position Dyche has left us in means that the only candidates to be realistically tempted are your Moyes'. Schmidt would have been my dream option but think that would have only been realistic in the summer.

Feels wrong on so many levels. Moyes is just as cautious as Dyche was. We need a manager who can attract big name players. Thats what we got with Carlo.

Remember everyone talking about us replacing dyche with the old WBA manager because he won a coue of games on the bounce. Didnt even make play offs
