New manager

I'd be looking to bring in Southgate if Moyes doesn't get a grip of this in the next few games - if he'd come.

As a last throw of the dice to keep us in this league he makes sense.

He'd have the respect of players and we'd get that bounce we need to get over the line.

He should have been brought in before Moyes.

I can only think he must have been approached and rejected the move.

Cash wise I'd make him an offer he couldn't refuse and for whatever length of contract he wanted.

As much as I was 50/50 on Moyes and I do agree with you Dave I'm not convinced it will be the raging success some seem to think it will be. However Southgate is just not an option, he had squad full of supremely talented individuals and failed to deliver with them multiple times. A couple of those tournaments were handed on a plate too him and he still fell short. I do think Moyes will keep us up but it will be a battle.

I think we have to act swiftly and bold.

Money talks.

Southgate is not and never will be the amswer.

My only desire is to see Everton safe.

Moyes wont do it and these players need a boost. Southgate would hand us it. Illd hand these players self belief. And boy do they need it.
Sorry mate, but that is utter codswollop... based on what. From memory he relegated a reasonably decent team when at middlesbrough, and dont get me started on choking with england. Hes rubbish

He wouldnt have a clue how to get us playing. Lets be real the footy he churned out for england with his mates at the end was diabolical.

Though you are correct in wanting us safe obvs

As a Scot I was delighted when Southgate became England manager.

I want him nowhere near my club.

How many years ago was he at Boro? A team he won a trophy with btw.

We're looking to stay in this PL and a boost to that end would be to hire a manager who has respect and has energy.

I dont care what manager we bring in, btw. I just know that if we get beat by Spurs there'll be a lot more people than me looking to punt him back where he belongs into retirement and get a manager in who can inspire us to some victories.

The Spurs game - if that ends in defeat panic will set in. I think these owners should be ahead of the game on that. Planning for Moyes instant successor.

He won a trophy as a player not a manager, he left them in the championship.in 2009. Took them 7 yrs to recover.

Hes crap, id almost say id rather have the phenomenal one back, but id maybe need to smoke some crack first.

2 games and youre looking to sack him, whatever happens at the spuds. Come on, thats just not senaible.

Give moyes some money, or a couple of players and start to get rid of the ample deadwood we have. We arent in a pickers market unfortunately... time will tell whether moyes is the right choice. Neither you, nor i know this. We will.only know when the season is finished. They arent going to be getting rid after 2 games its that simple.

There's no one who wants that win against Spurs more than me.

I dont care about managers ultimately. If he keeps us up this season Ild be relatively ok with him seeing out his contract and I think with a pre-season with them we'd be in decent shape next season.

But I just dont think this feller has the big bounce we need in him to inspire us in the remaining games. We're almost certainly looking for others to relegate themselves.

He's basically reacted to the Villa loss by saying Dyche was right: we need more players and the players we have aren;t good enough. What we need is a man who keeps it tight but maybe gets another 5% out of the attacking players and / or buys a finisher to get us safety.

Moyes looks beaten already to me.

As I say, if we get beat against Spurs there'll be panic setting in.

It's not the first time I've called for a Plan B to be ready...I think we'll need it.
