New manager

There’s no way we have the time to go after a manager in a job, that takes months
I am sure there are plenty of available managers around the world.
The Yanks have had months to assess the club , if they haven’t made contingency plans in that time then perhaps they ain’t all that after all.
( Allegri is in the country improving his English in preparation for a job in the PL. So there is one possibility straight away )

You're joking right?

You want me to name managers, why?

Anybody, in the entire world, pick a name, any name.

Kelly Brook, there you go.
Kelly Brook is very nice. She's not better than Sean Dyche at football management though, unfortunately. The Friedkins know sfa about football so the club does need to find a name, someone to guarantee survival which is absolutely not apparent in Europe at present. Dyche could be left there for another while the club teeters on the brink of relegation.

That’s a massive risk as well…
Especially if they want to play a totally different way, very suddenly, mid season whilst we’re in the soup.

It’s a strategic decision and a fast one we need now.
There's risk no matter what we do.

Stick with Dyche - risk.
Sack and replace - risk.

There is no simple solution to this. One thing I do know is nothing will ever truly change at this club if we limit ourselves to a tiny, shrinking genepool of former managers when a vacancy emerges.

Moyes ??.... much better manager than dyche... job he did at West ham was top notch

We need something and it’s not from this fella.

I simply think that the current problem is the remaining fixtures for this season and who can pick up where this fella leaves us and represents the least amount of risk

I have a massive grudge against him and I don’t like the idea of it for the longer term

If I had to bet on someone to navigate us out of this, looking at Aprils fixtures terrifies me, then yes I would bold my nose and bring in Moyes

Do you want to be left with Moyes beyond the season? He's too crafty to get short changed on a contract. He'll want three years. Yes he could guide them to safety and is better than dyche (who isn't?) but do you want him at Bramley Moore in August?
Moyes actually put together a decent team whilst he was manager and had us regularly in Europe, wouldn’t that be good.

And if we’d won all of the games that we lost when Moyes was manager, we’d have won the league a record breaking 10 years in a row. He should put that on his CV.
In fact, I’ve just worked this out- if you look at the Premier league since it started, if we’d have won all of the games that we lost and drew, we’d have won the league every single year. We’ve been quite unfortunate really.

Would that be the same for every manager or just Moyes?

Yeah, I'll have to part ways with you there.

Hiring him tells me we will never change as a club - and this new ownership really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do that with the new stadium in tow. He's been a very respectable manager, but the club needs a total culture change. I don't believe that can happen with Moyes. I'd take my chances with pretty much anybody else - even if that meant going down and resetting in the Championship. Not that it has to.

I don't see Moyes coming on a short-term deal. So if he came at all, we could forget that culture change.
