New manager

I've had to bump this thread, because even the blow hards demanding Dyche's neck no there's know one they can suggest who'd get this lot into any better shape than the man who achieved safety for the last two seasons, so they wont suggest a name.
Ive got a name.

Open your front door, walk down the road, the first person you see, they are a better manager than Dyche.

I can hold a grudge as tightly as the next man, and I definitely do

But I would be making David Moyes an offer, and to be honest I would have done so months ago
I’m of the opinion that, there isn’t all that much difference between Moyes and Dyche in 2025.

Better? Yes

But enough of a difference to replace one with the other on a long term basis? Not for me.

There are many upgrades on Dyche out there. We need to show a little vision as a club now and hire one without having to fish in the same fetid genepool.

There aren't a swathe of viable alternatives at the moment. Viable alternatives are actually thin on the ground right now.

It's not up to the fans to pick the next manager you womble.

Moyes is significantly better

There’s no long term guarantees for anybody who comes in, as they say in the long run, we’re all dead

All we can do in this situation is the next best thing and I think there’s big risk in unknown entities and mangers who’s playing style is too big of a leap for these players

Need someone who will keep it simple but has a proven track record of getting the best out of limited resources

Worry about the long term later

Take a look at Aprils fixtures if you don’t think it is time for the panic button

Do you think these Texans would be impressed by having a knight as manager of their football club?

Sir Gareth Southgate might just be the brand they need to "enhance Everton's reputation as a unique historical club in world football."

Seems more their type that Comfy Cardy Moyesy, anyway.
