New manager

Given the state of our squad and position in the league don’t we need a reliable firefighter as manager, even if short term? Take Amorim for example who is having a hard time trying to figure out a solution for Man U. It could be argued Man U have got worse since Amorim’s arrival. God knows what he would make of our squad and current situation. I imagine the challenges at Everton would stretch many of the decent managers we may aspire to. Before we think of sexy football, top half of league, challenging for honours etc., we need to get to safety in this season.
Your forgetting that next year we only have 13 players, so you get to build a squad, coming in now would be beneficial to see if you wanna keep anyone

It would ,
no reason why she shouldn't be able to do it,
she would have all the badges ect.
Her mind will be as good as anybody else and she might have a different outlook.
My mum went the game all her adult life and knew the game,
as do many other females some cracker fans among are fanbase over the years.
Never happen in reality right now , will do some time on the future ,
I expect
But can't be any worse than the boring rubbish we are currently getting served up.
She turned down Championship side because she wants a PL job

has NO ONE tried turning Everton off and on again?

At least we'll have an honest assessment

I've had to bump this thread, because even the blow hards demanding Dyche's neck no there's know one they can suggest who'd get this lot into any better shape than the man who achieved safety for the last two seasons, so they wont suggest a name.

I don’t think we can leap to a complete purist like Potter, but we need a halfway sort of manager, entertaining but pragmatic like Frank or Iraola.
Hard to imagine either leaving their current clubs for us now, but I’d be targeting either of those long term.

Hard to imagine - that’s an understatement and a half.

Can you imagine how the calls would go to their agents?

“We’ve got no money for you to improve the squad, we’ve got really limited attacking options but next season if we sell our best player, you might have some money to spend… fancy swapping Brentford/Bournemouth for this?”

Silva would be good.

Someone with a similar profile/ideas/philosophy as I don't see him leaving Bournemouth.

I didn't want Moyes back, but he is far better than what we have right now. He also got West Ham out of the mire twice in similar circumstances relatively recently. He's an upgrade on Dyche.

There are many upgrades on Dyche out there. We need to show a little vision as a club now and hire one without having to fish in the same fetid genepool.
