New manager

There are lots of other managers. This thread has discussed some of them.
My poin was who instead of moyes because of the post he said. Wanted to kno his view on who should be the next manager.
No idea. Someone young, capable - there is plenty in Europe. Not a dinosaur like Moyes.
i get this i am curious what names TFG bring to the table problem is who will want to come this point of the season, if we even have money to pay for the manager we want

Why is it odd? A competent club has a replacement lined up ready to go right away when they do decide to fire the manager.

I think its disgusting for a DOF to 'interview' managers (if that is the case) in public...when the current manager is still in place.

Thats not competent, thats reptilian.

If you're going to put the feelers out and even interview / meet then it should be done in secret and in private.

Going on the assumption we aren’t paying compensation for a manager already in work. The list of out of work and instantly available managers (according to google) areL:

Graham Potter

Joachim Löw

Erik ten Hag

Xavi

Rudi Garcia

Paulo Fonseca

Walter Mazzarri

Massimiliano Allegri

Edin Terzic

João Pereira

David Moyes

Albert Celades

Kasper Hjulmand

Gary O'Neil

You aren’t sacking Dyche and hiring Gary O’Neil so you can chalk him off the list.

TFG sacked Fonseca at Roma, and he’s just been sack at Milan. Would they really hire him again?

Xavi? Can you imagine one of the greatest midfielders to every grace the game try and teach Doucoure how to pass the ball 5 yards.

The two obvious ones are Moyes for the obvious reasons and Potter because he’s got premierleague experience and he’s seen as a young exciting coach.

I’m going a little left field… keep an eye on Erik ten Hag. Just a feeling. He’s only a couple of a years older than Potter and I wouldn’t be surprised if TFG think a project can be built around him.

To be fair to O'Neil, he's got instant reactions/improvements at both clubs he's managed. For a short-term punt to the end of the season he wouldn't be the worst choice IMO.

Someone suggesting this guy. I've never heard of him

Agreed. Pretty poor form that. If Lop has not already agreed his compensation packet his lawyers will have a field day. Their DoF obviously likes to dress for such occasions as well

I’m not a fan of Dyche but is it not fair to say that so many of our previous managers haven’t been able to get a tune out of these players? Consistently poor recruitment since Moyes left has left us in this state. So what manager do you think would realistically want this job? I don’t believe this talk that we are way better than where we are. This is a very poor midfield and attack that all have a history of no creativity and no goal scoring record so in all honesty what is Dyche supposed to do and who else is going to come in with a magic wand?
Bringing in a young up and coming manager that wants to play out the back and has his philosophy and will stick to it makes me think of that tool at Southampton recently or Kompany at Burnley. I think I’d rather stick with Dyche until the summer. If you can genuinely throw a name out there that will willingly come and we would all be impressed with them fine but I don’t think it’ll happen unfortunately.
