New manager

We need to get a away from this negative, conservative mentality as a club.

Firstly, there is virtually no way that anyone who comes in could be as bad as Dyche. Secondly, if a lot of people were confident until very recently (not me) that Dyche would keep us up, it won't take much for Potter to do so - there are three other very poor teams in this league. Thirdly, Potter is a coach, and tactically astute. He could improve our players and style. Forthly (is that a word?!) he has some good defenders and holding midfielders and a great goalkeeper to work with, so it's not like we're going to suddenly start conceding goals for fun. Finally, Forest are currently showing the benefit of bringing in a manager part way through a difficult season and allowing them to get out in front for the summer.

Potter would be absolutely fine and miles better than what we currently have and better long-term than reappointing Moyes or getting in another Dyche.
Totally agree and for those who say Potter failed at Chelsea, just look at Nuno after his Spurs disaster. Potter is a good coach and could improve the current players we have and get enough out of them until the end of the season so we don't go down. A backward step would be a Moyes, who is no guarantee that its keeps us up and if they do, then probably stuck with them for next season.

Of the last 34 years nearly all of our best seasons and best football was played under Moyes and nearly all of our best players were signed by him. The club might literally not exist but for him. The ingratitude and lack of perspective is frankly astonishing.
The day he went to Alex Fergusons house and was told he was Utds next manager months before he left us was the day he turned his back on this club.

Kenwright should have told him to clear his desk when he told him in the January.
No other club would have accepted that.

Then disrespecting the club over Baines & Failini was enough for every true Evertonian to never want to see or hear of him again.

Plus another remnant of the Kenwright era , keep him well away.

Potter won’t do any better than Moyes at West Ham, and I doubt he does much better than Lopetegui. He would be a disaster at Everton.
Would be more enjoyable to watch probably after the same period. But you can't say Moyes didn't do a good job there in terms of League positions.

Probably this will show how good Potter really is, as much as Dyche at Everton.

I think we would probably see a decent lift in performances from a new manager, purely because Dyche seems to cast a massive negative outlook to the players and fans. The change just from bringing in a decent man manager would be quite spectacular I feel, even without a huge change in system initially.

Some of us are more mature than others.
