Seen a mock up of the new kit, interesting design but it'll do.

Question: Why do people care who the sponsor is as long as the logo doesnt look dreadful and they pay more money?

Question: If its a gambling firm does that mean DBB will be resigning?
I wouldn't even be arsed but it shows the complete double standards from the club after getting rid of SportsPesa and acting all virtuous. Stake is also somehow more shady than SportsPesa. We're The Peoples Club though.

Doesn't look terrible...but not a fan of having a betting co on the front :dodgy:

I think the shirt looks good, I understand some people being unhappy about the gambling sponsor, but we have to accept that gambling exists and actually I think we should be working to educate people on the dangers and "gambling responsibly". I personally dont gamble, because I am rubbish at it and quite tight with money.

No doubt the Premier league will soon announce that clubs can no longer be sponsored by gambling companies, probably just after my shirt is delivered. lol

Are you asking why morality exists?

Betting isnt immoral...

I work in crypto and ive never heard of Stake.

Highly doubt theyre as dodgy as Sportpesa.

They best be paying us a extortionate amount considering they pay twitch streamers a couple mill a month to bet on their site live.

Getting a gambling sponsor back on board wouldn't be our proudest moment but if they are the highest bidder (by a margin) it's probably a necessary evil. Our losses are unsustainable and have us on the brink of serious sanctions that would have disastrous consequences and in such serious circumstances if the board weren't accepting best offers they'd arguably not be doing their jobs properly. Every penny counts right now.

I didn’t say it was.

I’m morally opposed to betting companies, not people that bet.

I’m not asking you to agree with my views - but to question why other people might feel this way says more about your apparent amorality than anything else.
