A betting sponsor. Gross.
We share a league with clubs owned by despot regimes and murderers.
Honestly couldn't care less who sponsers us so long as we get enough dough in to remain competitive.
We've already been shafted by the UK Government and used as political pawns losing tens of millions of USM sponsership money.

There's huge speculation that the new main sponsor is another betting/gambling organisation - if true, it will fly in the face of HER statements at the last Philharmonic Hall AGM where she stated the club would move away from such sponsorships.I'd agree but maybe we can only actually name them when cazoo has finished? I don't know just guessing but surely our CEO wasn't telling porkies?
I don't think in the long run we will lose that money. We share a league with clubs owned by despot regimes and murderers.

Are you also opposed to banks, if so where do you keep your money?I didn’t say it was.
I’m morally opposed to betting companies, not people that bet.
I’m not asking you to agree with my views - but to question why other people might feel this way says more about your apparent amorality than anything else.

I'm not saying you are wrong but have you got an article to where she said that? There's huge speculation that the new main sponsor is another betting/gambling organisation - if true, it will fly in the face of HER statements at the last Philharmonic Hall AGM where she stated the club would move away from such sponsorships.
I've no doubt that whenever the new deal is announced, it'll be a "record deal" but, that could be somewhat ambiguous as we never knew the full value of the Cazoo deal that was originally intended to be for three years.
It was the club who executed the cancel option after 2 years not Cazoo.
Sanderson, Dagenham Motors, Sega, Crown Paints, Sharp, Holsten.
Pay attention mate.

Okay, she said 'ideally' we would move away from betting/gambling sponsorships.I'm not saying you are wrong but have you got an article to where she said that?
All I can find is stuff like this.
“In an ideal world moving forward we would look to have a different type of sponsor on the front of our shirts like all football clubs would, but that is a commercial decision that we make as a football club."
And from an article in the Guardian
"Although the club has not committed to ending gambling sponsorships, given Barrett-Baxendale’s remarks at the AGM it must be considered unlikely that the main sponsor from next season will be a betting company."
I'm not asking for an audit of my morality from you, thank you.
I'm not a vegan or vegetarian, I'm not anti-nuclear power or anti-capitalism - or plenty of other things that many find morally reprehensible.
But I respect the views of people that are.
People care about gambling's impact on society. People have lost loved ones to gambling.
You don't have to agree, but you ought to respect other people's right to oppose Everton having a gambling sponsor.
