We miss Patterson badly. At the moment none of our back four have the pace to commit themselves higher up the pitch, so we can't get any kind of numerical advantage anywhere. Hopefully he's back sooner rather than later. If not, Lampard's going to have to come up with something.

We might miss Patterson, but he's not the reason we are so dreadful. We have no forward line, no attackers. This is what I find astonishing. It's an absolute liability from the club. We can take this back to Lukaku but definitely with DCL being out at the start of the season we needed reinforcement pronto! We've relaxed our sphincters believing we have enough fire power in the squad. They are absolutely horrendous! This is not how we should be. No shots on target again! Just shocking.
