Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

This kind of takeover is very much dead these days, it just allows you to buy players from smaller clubs for higher fees.

When City were forcing Arsenal and Liverpool to sell first team players, that’s when it was very real for them. Newcastle will just end up signing Neves for £100m
Agreed, just another team taken over by billionaires, be a top 6 contender nothing else, teams will put there prices up when Newcastle come knocking and we’l probably sell them Davies for £50m lol they’ll end up buying the best of the rest players from the PL or going abroad and buying mercenaries who don’t even know where Newcastle is

Thing i saw said it was more £128m spent, you might be correct though.

No idea where his figure is from, he spent the best part of £200 million while he was there on absolute dross. They've spent over £250 since he's arrived there and look like a side about to head towards relegation. Essentially Steve Bruce did an equivalent job to Benitez. So firing lots of money at him will probably be a bit like us, but on steroids under Koeman.

Benitez is probably the worst type of manager they can get. He will spend a load of money, on average players.

Even if they had a boss stadium (they don’t) it counts for nothing when it’s filled with horse punching halfwits.
Well, if this goes ahead (and it looks very much like it is) the Saudi Wealth Fund is worth over £300 billion ( Yes Billion).
Eventually the ground they have will be extended to over 60,000...!

Mcfc in the third tier were getting gates around 30,000. Newcastle in the third tier averaged around 16,000. Massive. That said, the more clubs who can challenge for the title the better.
