Newcastle Utd (and Viz)

Maybe it's the same person Kenwright apparently nearly sold the club too before finding out he was in fact a doleite from Manchester living in a one bedroom flat.

Seriously though, you can never believe anything you read or hear when it comes to Mike Ashley selling up, he's looked certain to be off many times before the deal mysteriously collapses. This is probably just more rubbish to convince Benitez to sign a new deal and lock him in.

Newcastle have finished in the top two twice and the top four way more times than Everton or Villa ever have in the premier league era to be fair.

As much as I hate to say it, a lot of our fans are really bitter towards Newcastle and it smacks of jealousy.

Ha ha ha Everton fans jealous of a club, that hasn't won anything of note since 1969!Ha ha ha the reds and the geordies, brothers in arms god love them.lollol

Looks like a load of tosh. Seriously even if Newcastle get some mulla they have a fair way to go to catch us. We still hold more appeal and with a new stadium on the horizon we will still be attractive to players

So a fake sheikh hey?

Who'd a thunk it. I bet Mansour at City was hacked off by people believing he was a dodgy sheikh too. I bet that Bill mugged him right off and told him to get back to his bedsit. That would be another classic Kenwright moment.

Every year, at the end of the season, without fail, disgruntled Horse Punchers refuse to buy their season tickets because Ashley has hamstung their club for another year.
Every Summer some made up guff about him being on the verge of selling gets seeded in the press by his mates in the media, and they fall for it, stump up the cash and renew.
Again and again. Every year.

They deserve all they get.

That has a familiar ring to it. Dodgy news to get season ticket renewals. Do they also have to wait for the sky money before they can buy anyone?

As anton66's post above...

Oh dear bar codes, where have we seen this before?

(Their bid for a controlling stake in Liverpool perhaps ?)

(Last night->) ...the optimism was gradually replaced with familiar misgivings. This will be the fifth time in 11 years that Newcastle have supposedly been on the verge of being sold by Ashley, but on each occasion the talks have collapsed and there are growing fears this will follow suit.

Telegraph Sport understands that although a price has been agreed with the Al Nehayan, the United Arab Emirates based businessman is yet to provide proof of funds with sources indicating there is a long way to go before a deal is concluded.

Literally cannot wait to see the fume on here when they usurp us for our seventh place crown. Not that’s ever actually finish seventh.
