My dislike stems from living and working there for 10 years. Love the city, just had to put up with the terrible football chat. Didn’t help that we were gash at the time. They genuinely thought they were going to win the league every season. Also all the misdemeanours carried out by Dyer, Bramble et al were quietly brushed under the carpet.

Marseille is a very good option. Great brand recognition in an up and coming league. Situated in a very nice part of the world. Good European pedigree. They're a sleeping giant. If you wanted a team for investment purposes, then that might be the one.

Probably could say the same for Roma as Italian football is in a lull.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't invest in an English club, but the price would certainly have to be right. And in the middle of a pandemic and period of economic uncertainty with finances back home being restricted due to oil price uncertainty - well I think it's a buyers market and I'd probably be looking elsewhere.

Marseille are a mess FFP wise at the minute tbh but yeah, rest is probably spot on

Replied on your " Mental Health Forum " as I can be a little more " constructive ". Been a psychy nurse for 30 years so I try to be supportive of people who are struggling.

With re: the takeover, according to a football financial whizz kid there arnt any problems, however, it doesn't feel that way. It's been an innordinate amount of time and people are naturally getting edgy. Will go through I think. I hope.
