It sounds as though if the deal goes through from the current prospective buyers it would be a disaster for Newcastle fan's.

I hope it goes through. They deserve it.

Does seem like they're not overly interested in buying a club, will just be another side venture.

City's owners took an active interest and have built infrastructure/bought other clubs internationally.

Just been on the blower with the Geordie from my office (when I was in an office). He was bemoaning Ashley and his buying up parcels of land around the Sports Direct and selling them off for development whilst trousering the profits. What a businessman! He was also not impressed with the PL dragging its heals and forcing the Saudis out. I offered the better fit of the American at least running it professionally, but apparently he is associated with suspicious characters too. Oh Mike Ashley, will you ever be free?

You would think they wouldn’t have much trouble finding a buyer considering they have the most passionate fans in the known (and unknown) universe. Maybe prospective buyers have been put off by the beating of horses and grown men with their tits out.

This is a fair point. I was thinking of having a massive boat made in his image and ride it up and down the Tyne playing ‘Jammin’ by Bob Marley through huge speakers.
Mike could be the captain! We could probably afford a table for him to sleep under and a nice fireplace.
