I think geordies might be even more delusional than Kopites. "what does this mean" err the myth you've told yourselves that Staveley represented big money in the City deal is now not true. She was working for the seller. Earlier in the trial it looks like they're not even a proper brokerage firm, but she knew how to network in those spaces, accept she didn't.

That admission, under oath seems fairly groundbreaking as I've noted above. Not for the Barclays case per se but for the Newcastle case yes. I mean for Barclays it trashed her character hence why theyve done it, and shown she is little more than a spivvy con artist.

A big part of why people went so hard that this was genuine was that Staveley was the real deal. To be fair even I did. While I pointed out it differed from City in that she is taking equity, I felt she clearly had connections to the elite level in the middle East and had been tasked previously to buy a club.

What the evidence has shown here, is that's categorically not the case. While she may have a business relationship with Monsour she worked for the seller. He hasnt written any Support for her either.

What's far more likely in this, is she is working g for Ashley, not Saudi and trying to convince them to buy in, which they seem reluctant to do. It's a real game changer, especially given they in all likelihood have not shown the necessary funds to potentially complete the deal thus far (potentially).

Essentially she is not who everyone believed her to be.
