But why would the Saudis or whoever is supposed to be the major part of the investment want to be tied to doing any major building work through a minority partner for the benefit of the minor partner alone? Something fishy about the whole deal. Mind you it's been stinking since before this thread was started.

If you want my opinion they are struggling to make funds up, so Staveley is calling in favours. May have promised them the world and blagged them that she worked on behalf of Monsour before.

The Reuben brothers are pretty legit but have absolutely no interest in ploughing money into football. Property if mainly their game and probably think if they have a share they are well placed.

It all just doesnt add up though. If you're going into a business to massively pump money in and add share price, you dont give up 10% of the equity.

On a more serious note, do you know anyone who ever purchased one of those giant mugs? Yet there they are in every staff kitchen area with a dirty tea stained innard. I bet there's even one in the Saudi royal palace! What an owner.

They shove them in the box free with mail order deliveries. My daughter got one early into lockdown and I started to use it at home as my new “work” mug as a joke. Wife hates seeing me with it lol
