I suppose with Spurs looking for a new manager now it makes Newcastle's position even more complicated given that any manager with anything going for them will go to Tottenham over Newcastle unless they decide on NES as their saviour of course

I don't envy Newcastle having to make this next appointment. They need to show ambition with the manager they choose in order to kick start this takeover and attract players, but what good manager would want to take the job right now? They need a Sam Allardyce.
